BECCA STEVENS

Singer/Songwriter

Twice GRAMMY-nominated singer/songwriter Becca Stevens blends her Appalachian and classical roots with jazz, folk, pop, and world music influences, creating a genre-defying sound marked by luminous vocals and mastery of multiple string instruments.

Since founding the Becca Stevens Band in 2006, she’s toured internationally and collaborated with artists including David Crosby (as a member of his Lighthouse Band), Jacob Collier, Michael League, Taylor Eigsti, and the Secret Trio. Her work with Attacca Quartet and violist Nathan Schram earned her a 2023 GRAMMY nomination, and she’s appeared on projects with Brad Mehldau, Chris Thile, Gretchen Parlato, Laura Mvula, and others.

Her latest album, Maple to Paper (GroundUP, 2024), is a raw and intimate collection recorded live without overdubs, reflecting on grief and transformation with stripped-down guitar and vocal performances, mixed by longtime collaborator Nic Hard.

In 2024, Stevens made her Broadway debut in ILLINOISE, the Sufjan Stevens-inspired musical by Justin Peck and Jackie Sibblies Drury. She is currently touring across Asia, Europe, and the U.S., continuing her path as an adventurous, emotionally resonant artist and storyteller.

A graduate of the prestigious Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music at NYU Tisch, Caro Miller serves as the dynamic, contemporary heartbeat of the Perpetual Motion team. Bridging the gap between high-level commercial composition and current musical trends, Caro’s work is defined by a rare versatility that spans from soulful RnB production to the precise narrative demands of global advertising campaigns.

IMG_0894.jpg
"Caro’s work is defined by global reach and modern prestige: from lead vocals on two Coca-Cola Super Bowl campaigns to original scores for Google, St-Germain, and Altra, alongside over 150,000 streams for her debut artist project."

Caro is the voice of a new generation of sound. Most recently, she delivered the original music for Google’s “New Ways to Search” (Fall 2023), a high-profile campaign that showcases her ability to craft sonic identities for the world’s most influential brands. Her upcoming projects involve a blend of bespoke commercial scores and the expansion of her own highly-anticipated solo catalog.

Miller’s immersion in the music industry began long before her professional debut. Growing up in the halls of the Metropolitan Opera as a member of the Children’s Chorus, she developed a foundational understanding of vocal performance and dramatic arrangement. This early mastery evolved into a successful career as a session vocalist for major film and television projects, culminating in her role as the lead singer for the 2014 & 2017 Coca-Cola Super Bowl advertisements, "It’s Beautiful."

In the commercial sphere, Caro has rapidly become a go-to composer for brands seeking a fresh, pop-forward edge. Her recent credits include several high-impact social media campaigns for St-Germain Liquor, a national spot for Assured Guaranty ("Model City"), and original composition for Altra Running Shoes. This commercial success is mirrored by her achievements as an independent artist; her debut 6-track EP, Is It Over, reached over 150,000 streams on Spotify within months of its release, proving her ability to resonate with a global audience.

As a full-time composer at Perpetual Motion Music, Caro extends the company’s range into the realms of modern Pop, RnB, and digital-first media. Her presence ensures that the studio remains at the forefront of the cultural conversation, offering clients a sound that is not only expertly crafted but deeply relevant to today’s listeners. Whether writing to pitch for major artists or scoring a 30-second spot, her mission remains consistent: to bring a modern, soulful, and unforgettable narrative to every note.
